Team members: who can we add to your Scrum team?

Scrum team doesn't include any of the traditional software development roles such as software developer or tester. Everyone on the project works together to complete the set of work they have collectively committed to complete within a sprint. But team members must have skills necessary to take a product backlog item from idea to implementation.

Thus, we have separated team members according to their specialization:

Scrum and XP experience: what are candidate’s practical experience with Scrum and XP? English skills: what English skills
do candidates have?

An average candidate has worked about 2 years in Scrum teams and extensively used the following XP practices:

  • Test-driven development
  • Pair programming
  • Incremental design
  • Continuous integration
  • Coding standard
If the candidate has excellent technical, personal and English skills but hasn’t worked with Scrum teams we can arrange 1 day training about Scum and share our past experience with the candidate.

At least upper-intermediate:

  • Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialization.
  • Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party.
  • Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
